MacParsley 1.0.0
Released November 3, 2026
The first release. MacParsley records your meetings, transcribes them on your Mac, works out who said what, and writes the summary and mind map, all kept as ordinary files in a library folder you own.
Recording
- Record your microphone and the Mac's audio together from the Record Meeting window, with a live transcript.
- Automatic recording for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex and Slack: it starts when you join a call and stops when you leave, or asks first if you prefer.
- Follows the microphone your meeting app uses, all call long, and checks by sound that it's really hearing you. Choose a different microphone during the call at any time.
- Echo cancellation when you're on speakers.
Transcripts and speakers
- Transcribe on your Mac with Apple's speech recognition, or Whisper and Parakeet models.
- Separates the voices, learns them, and names people automatically in later meetings.
- Fix a misheard name or word once, everywhere it appears.
Summaries and mind maps
- More than 60 summary prompts, chosen automatically or by you, in five styles; or write your own.
- Use models on your Mac (Apple Intelligence, LM Studio, Ollama) or a cloud provider with your own key.
- A concise and a detailed mind map for every meeting.
Plaud, Pocket, Fireflies.ai and note1.ai
- Import recordings from Plaud, Pocket and Fireflies with their transcripts and summaries.
- Or send any meeting to Plaud, Pocket, Fireflies or note1 to transcribe or summarize it.
And
- Folders, tags, smart folders, search across everything, and Advanced Search.
- Share as PDF, Markdown, a mind map picture or a complete meeting zip; print what's showing.
- A built-in MCP server lets AI apps such as Claude read (and, if you allow it, work on) your library.
MacParsley needs a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 27 or later. The trial has every feature and holds 10 meetings; a license is a one-time purchase for up to 3 Macs, with free updates for all of version 1: $19.95 at the introductory price until December 31, 2026 (regularly $39.95).
