Sharing and printing
Share Meeting
Select a meeting and choose Share Meeting in the toolbar, or use the Meeting menu. There are two choices.

| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Share… | Pick what to share (below) and the Mac's own Share sheet opens (Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Notes…). |
| Show in Finder | Opens the meeting's own folder in Finder, with its audio, transcript, summary and mind maps. To get a copy of something, drag it from there. |
What
| Item | Formats |
|---|---|
| Entire Meeting (MacParsley ZIP) | A zip with the audio, transcript, summary, mind maps, attachments and speakers. Another MacParsley imports it as a complete meeting. |
| Transcript | Text, Markdown or PDF, with speaker names and times. |
| Summary | Text, Markdown or PDF. |
| Mind Map (PNG) | The Concise or the Detailed map as a picture. |
| Audio | The recording. |
Text shares the words themselves rather than a file, so the Share menu also offers apps that take text: a new note in Notes, a reminder, a Journal entry, or the body of a Mail message. Headings and bullet points come out as plain text, and pictures are left out. Markdown and PDF share a file, which fewer apps accept (AirDrop, Mail, Messages, Notes, Freeform, and apps you've added with share extensions).
Items that don't exist for a meeting (no transcript yet, say) are greyed out. A meeting that is still being transcribed or summarized can be shared once it's finished.
Notes
- Which summary: if the Summary tab is showing an older version, that version is what's shared or printed. Otherwise it's the default one.
- PDFs include pictures (for example from Plaud summaries).
- Markdown doesn't carry pictures. A
.mdfile is plain text; its picture links point at files that stay in the meeting's Attachments folder. To share a summary with its pictures, send the PDF or the ZIP. - Each file is named after the meeting ("Pricing Call — Summary.pdf").
- The PDF and Markdown of the default summary and transcript are also kept inside every meeting's folder, so you can find them in Finder without sharing anything. See The library.
Printing
Press ⌘P (or the Print button, or File → Print…). It prints what is showing for the selected meeting:
| Tab | Printed |
|---|---|
| Summary | The summary, with its pictures. |
| Transcript | The transcript with speaker names and times. |
| Mind Map | The map that's showing (concise or detailed), on a landscape page. |
Summaries and transcripts flow onto the page with 0.75-inch margins, like a normal document. You get the standard Mac print window, including Save as PDF.
Print is greyed out on tabs that have nothing to print (Audio, Attachments).
